The Piombaia<\/strong> farm was born from the union of two families: The Rossi from Montalcino and The Cantini from Pisa.
In the fifth generation<\/strong> of the Rossi-Cantini family, the brothers Vittorio, Francesco and Cecilia manage the family business, choosing since 2008 to apply the principles of organic<\/strong> and biodynamic<\/strong> agriculture that have completely revolutionized the way of living and working on the farm: no more the use of synthetic fertilizers, chemical pesticides or large agricultural machines but the rediscovery of the rhythms of nature<\/strong>, the passage of time and the choice to let horses<\/strong> run freely around the vineyard<\/strong> used as natural herbicides.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our wine is the result of our philosophy of work and life: a wine that, beyond the experience and sensitivity of the winemaker and producer, reflects the variability of the season in the different vintages, vintages that through their structure will re-propose their own personality. A wine that is never photocopied but that absorbs and shapes itself on the variations of nature, while maintaining its characteristics. We like to think and treat our vineyard as a complete form of life like the wood that surrounds it where everything is in harmony: the undergrowth that nourishes it, the fauna and biodiversity, its perfect self-regulation.
